Hotel Description

You know what struck me first about Villa Milana? It’s tucked away in this quiet residential area called Podkosljun – honestly, I had to ask the taxi driver twice because it’s not exactly where you’d expect to find a hotel. But that’s actually the genius of it. You’re maybe a 10-minute walk from all the madness of Budva’s Old Town and the main beaches, but when you come back at night, it’s genuinely peaceful. No drunk tourists stumbling around at 3 AM, no beach bar music thumping until dawn. I mean, during peak summer you’ll still hear some distant party sounds drifting up from the coast, but it’s totally manageable.

The place has that authentic Montenegro villa vibe – not some soulless modern box, but not trying too hard to be rustic either. The owners clearly put thought into the details without going overboard. My room had this really nice terrace (request one if you book) where I’d have my morning coffee and actually see glimpses of the Adriatic through the trees. The Wi-Fi was solid – I worked from there a few mornings without issues, which honestly surprised me given how spotty internet can be in some Montenegrin accommodations. Parking was straightforward too, which if you’ve driven around Budva in summer, you know is basically a miracle. The whole check-in process was refreshingly human – no corporate script, just genuine local hospitality.

What really sold me on Villa Milana was how it bridges that gap between being close enough to everything but far enough away to actually relax. You can walk to Slovenska Beach in about 15 minutes (it’s prettier than the main town beach anyway), and there’s this little local bakery maybe 5 minutes away where you can grab proper burek for breakfast instead of hotel pastries. The 8.8 rating makes total sense – it’s not trying to be a luxury resort, but everything works exactly as it should. The rooms are comfortable, the common areas feel welcoming rather than sterile, and the staff actually knows the area well enough to give you real recommendations, not just the tourist trap suggestions. If you want to experience Budva without feeling like you’re sleeping in the middle of a nightclub district, this is your spot.

The location was amazing being very close to the beach and the view is astonishing. It was very clean and it was equipped with everything we needed. Our host was also top class and she was always there for us. 10/10 for everything for sure.

Właścicielka to miła i pomocna osoba. Novembra ,schowana w piwnicy domu z przepysznym jedzeniem, super cenami i obsługą, polecam bo my za późno ją odkryliśmy.
