First Impressions
Walking up to Villa Rihter, you immediately get that feeling of discovering something special tucked away from the tourist chaos. This three-star property sits on Praška street in what’s honestly one of the best spots in Budva — and I mean that. The building has this understated charm that doesn’t scream for attention, but once you’re inside, you realize the owners have put real thought into creating something memorable. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’ve stumbled onto a local secret.
Location That Actually Matters
Here’s what I love about Villa Rihter’s location — you’re close enough to everything that matters but far enough from the madness to actually sleep at night. Budva’s Old Town is just a pleasant walk away, and you can reach the main beaches without breaking a sweat. What really impressed me though is how couples seem to gravitate toward this area (they rate it 9.6, which honestly makes sense when you experience it). The neighborhood has this residential feel where you’ll see locals going about their day, not just endless souvenir shops and overpriced cafes. The area truly captures the essence of authentic Mediterranean living.
The Rooms and Comfort
The accommodations at Villa Rihter strike that perfect balance between comfort and character. You’re not getting cookie-cutter hotel rooms here — each space feels thoughtfully arranged with enough personality to make your stay memorable. The beds are actually comfortable (you know how hit-or-miss that can be), and there’s proper attention to details like lighting and storage space. What I particularly appreciated was how quiet everything stays, even during Budva’s busier summer months when the town can get pretty lively. Every room is designed with the guest experience in mind.
Practical Perks
Let’s talk about something that’ll save you both money and headaches — Villa Rihter offers free parking. If you’ve ever tried finding a parking spot in Budva during peak season, you’ll understand why this is actually a big deal. It’s one of those practical touches that shows the management understands what travelers really need. The property consistently earns high marks from guests (we’re talking 9.5 rating), and after staying there, I get why people keep coming back. This attention to guest needs sets the property apart from competitors.
Why Guests Love It
What sets Villa Rihter apart isn’t any single flashy feature — it’s how everything comes together to create an experience that just works. You’re staying in Budva’s top-rated area without paying upscale prices, getting genuine local atmosphere without sacrificing comfort, and enjoying peace and quiet while still being connected to everything the city offers. It’s particularly perfect for couples looking for that sweet spot between authentic Montenegro and modern convenience. The kind of place where you’ll find yourself planning your next visit before you’ve even checked out. Villa Rihter represents the best of what a boutique property can offer.
Apartments in Budva provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Montenegrin markets and cook with fresh Mediterranean ingredients.

Excellent room with mountain view in great location Fantastic location for Budva Old Town and beach. Excellent standards of cleanliness and maintenance. Friendly and helpful owners who responded very promptly to requests. Quiet area with supermarket at end of the road. Thank you!
What could be improved: A little awkward to find the property. Perhaps a sign with the property name would be helpful. Apart from this, there was nothing we would change.
Very Good They were very helpful
Space for a car was also an advantage
The hotel is a 15min walk from the old town
What could be improved: It was bad that there was no place to hang clothes to dry.
The refrigerator was very loud and I woke up at night because of the noise.
The shower did not have a door, so the inside of the bathroom was constantly wet.
Exceptional Comfortable stay with great location and friendly and warm host
Amazing stay This experience exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, I felt I was visiting family who wanted to make sure I was well taken care of. From securing a cheaper taxi ride from the airport to, carrying my heavy luggage to the third floor, to making sure my room was always clean. Dragan and his lovely wife were amazing. They pride themselves on the care and quality of the accommodation. The room was clean, spacious, view was good from the balcony. Location is perfect. 10min walk from old town/beach/shops/bus station. For around 5€ you can take the bus to nearby towns and cities.
The place was quiet, we'll maintained and welcoming. Didn't have much issues bit if anything arose it was addressed immediately.
What could be improved: Make sure you are efficient when taking a shower. There is plenty of hot water but don't linger.
Exceptional Smell of orange flowers in the garden in april is something special.
What could be improved: Everything was OK, I have no complains..
Enjoyable stay! Great host, friendly and very helpful. Some splendid views from the balcony.
Exceptional Location, owner, cleaning, view, facilities - everything was perfect!!!!
What could be improved: If you need internet for work - here it was a little bit slow. But for usual using was ok!!!!
Best value for price The manager is extremely polite and nice person! Also the value you get for the price is unbelievable!
Exceptional I like all of them
What could be improved: Nothing
Lovely hosts in a good location with easy access to the old town and beaches Once we got our bearings the location was very good as it was 5/10 mins walk to either the promenade and beach or the old town of Budva. Bakery was a 2 minute walk away. 15 minute walk to the bus station (which also has a mini park with rabbits, chickens, peacocks and tortoises!) Hosts were friendly and the room was spotless.
What could be improved: Plug points in strange places so had to move the kettle near the bed to make tea! Not suitable for a long stay as not much hanging / storage space (although this may be different in another room)
