I could walk to the old town walls in about eight minutes, hit the main beach in roughly the same time, yet come back to this quiet residential street when I needed to escape the crowds. The couples who rave about this place (apparently giving it a 9.2 rating) are onto something — there’s something genuinely romantic about strolling back here in the evenings. Plus, you’re actually in a neighborhood where locals live, which means you’ll find those little bakeries and corner shops that tourists usually miss completely.

The Room Experience

My room was simple but thoughtfully put together — clean lines, decent-sized windows, and everything you actually need without unnecessary frills. The air conditioning worked perfectly (crucial in Montenegro’s summer heat), and I appreciated that the WiFi was reliable throughout the property. What struck me most was how quiet it was at night, which is honestly rare when you’re this close to Budva’s center. The bathroom was compact but modern, with good water pressure — sometimes it’s these basic things that make or break a stay, you know?

Mornings here have this lovely, unhurried feel that I really came to appreciate. While Villa Roselina doesn’t have its own restaurant, there’s a fantastic local café literally two minutes away where I grabbed coffee and burek most mornings. The staff at the villa were genuinely helpful with recommendations — not just the obvious tourist spots, but places they’d actually go themselves. I mean, when the person at reception tells you about a family-run seafood place that doesn’t even have a sign, you know you’re getting the real deal.

Why Guests Love It

After spending several days here, I totally get why this place consistently scores so well with visitors. It’s not trying to be something it’s not — just solid, comfortable accommodation in an absolutely prime location. The combination of being able to park easily, walk everywhere that matters, and return to a peaceful base each evening is pretty much exactly what you want from a Budva stay. For couples especially, there’s something appealing about having your own little retreat while still being in the thick of things. Villa Roselina proves that sometimes the best travel experiences come from places that simply do the fundamentals really, really well.

  Very comfortable and spacious private room with private bathroom. Nice couch inside. Good hot water, Wi-Fi. Friendly staff. Safe neighborhood. Stores, bakeries and cafes only 5 minutes away. Only 10 minutes walk from the bus station, old town, and beaches.
