This three-star property sits quietly on Stevana Štiljanovića, and honestly, that’s part of its charm. You know what struck me right away? The fact that I could actually park my rental car without circling the block fifteen times or paying through the nose for it. The free private parking on-site is genuinely a lifesaver in Budva, where finding a decent spot can turn into a small nightmare during peak season.

Location and Getting Around

Here’s the thing about this spot — you’re close enough to everything that matters without being right in the thick of the tourist chaos. I mean, Budva’s Old Town is totally walkable from here, maybe a 10-15 minute stroll depending on how fast you move. The beach scene is right there too, which is perfect if you want to escape back to your room for a midday break without it being a whole production. What I really appreciated was how the area feels more residential — you get a sense of actual Montenegrin life rather than just the tourist bubble.

The Accommodation Experience

Look, this isn’t going to blow your mind with fancy amenities, but the rooms are clean and comfortable enough for what you’re paying. The space feels lived-in rather than sterile, which I actually prefer when I’m traveling. Air conditioning works well (crucial during those sweltering July afternoons), and the Wi-Fi held up fine for my needs. The bathrooms are straightforward — nothing fancy, but everything functions as it should. I found myself spending most of my time exploring anyway, so having a solid base to crash at the end of the day was really all I needed.

The Practical Stuff

Villa San Marco runs pretty smoothly from an operational standpoint. The staff speaks decent English and they’re genuinely helpful when you need directions or recommendations. Breakfast isn’t included, but there’s a little café just down the street that does excellent burek if you’re into that sort of thing. The building itself feels well-maintained — not brand new, but you can tell they take care of the place. Hot water was consistent, which honestly can be hit-or-miss at some places in this price range along the Montenegrin coast.

Why Guests Love It

What really makes this place work is that it delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. Couples seem to gravitate here because it’s got that low-key, authentic vibe that’s perfect for a romantic getaway without the tourist trap feel. The combination of reasonable rates, that precious parking situation, and being close to both the beach and Old Town creates this sweet spot that’s hard to find elsewhere in Budva. You’re not paying for bells and whistles you don’t need, but you’re also not sacrificing comfort or location. Sometimes that’s exactly what a good trip calls for.

  Ogromna terasa. Doplatili smo 10 eura za 2 nocenja za dijete od 7 godina, sto mislim da je sasvim OK.

  What could be improved: Do apartmana se konstantno ide uz brdo od plaze, na nekim djelovima dosta strmo.
  Internet je bio katastrofa, u vecernjim satima se jako tesko mogao uhvatiti, bio je spor.
  Laptopom se nisam ni mogao povezati na njega, nije dobro bio podesen wifi.
  Mali prostor u apartmanu, sve zbijeno. Ali to se realno vidi i na slikama.
  Kupatilo ne bas u finom stanju, osjetio se ponekad cudan miris. Zastor tusa treba bolje postaviti, curi voda po citavom kupatilu.
  Na balkonu je bila jedna polomljena stolica.
  Morao sam dodatno platiti taksu za stanovanje (1 euro po osobi po jednoj noci), sto nije bilo naznaceno u rezervaciji.
