Hotel Description
Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of places in Budva, and Villa Seka honestly caught me off guard – in the best way possible. You know how sometimes you book a 3-star place and keep your expectations low? Well, this little gem on Pancevacka Street proved that stars don’t tell the whole story. I mean, a 9.4 rating should’ve been my first clue, but I was still pleasantly surprised when I actually walked through the doors.
The thing about Villa Seka is that it sits in this perfect sweet spot – you’re actually in a residential area (which means real quiet at night, thank god), but you can still walk to the Old Town in maybe 10 minutes if you don’t mind a little uphill trek back. Pancevacka Street itself is one of those local roads that most tourists never discover, lined with authentic Montenegrin houses and the occasional family-run café where locals grab their morning coffee. The owners clearly know what they’re doing here – check-in was smooth, none of that awkward waiting around while they figure out your reservation, and honestly, the place just feels… cared for, you know? Like someone’s grandmother lives here and makes sure everything’s just right.
What really sets this place apart is the attention to detail that you only notice after you’ve been traveling for a while. The rooms actually have proper blackout curtains (a godsend if you’re trying to sleep off jet lag), and the bathrooms have decent water pressure – I know it sounds basic, but you’d be amazed how many places get this wrong. There’s this lovely terrace area where you can have breakfast while listening to the birds instead of traffic, which is pretty rare when you’re this close to Budva’s center. And here’s something I really appreciated – they’ve got dedicated parking spots, which if you’ve ever tried to park in Budva during summer, you’ll understand is basically worth its weight in gold. The whole vibe is more like staying at a friend’s well-appointed house than a typical hotel, but with all the conveniences you actually need. During my stay in late June, even with the peak season crowds flooding the beaches and Old Town, Villa Seka remained this calm oasis where you could decompress. If you’re looking for a place where the 9.4 rating actually makes sense once you experience it – and where you’ll probably end up chatting with other guests over coffee because everyone’s just genuinely happy to be there – this is your spot.

Very cozy place! – Anastasiya from Sweden – July 19, 2025 (10/10)
The staff were super nice, helpful with all questions, cleaned and changed sheets and towels without us even needing to. The bed was nice and comfortable, nice view and close to everything. The beach 5 min walk, the grocery store right below the accommodation. Very cozy place, we will definitely come back here!
What could be improved: Gillar allt!😊Exceptional – Travel from Serbia – June 14, 2025 (10/10)
This was our third stay at Villa Seka, and we’re happy to be returning guests.
Nice, clean and great value for money – Dante from Cyprus – August 2, 2023 (8/10)
Very close to the beach, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets.
The host is very kind and helpful. They allowed me to have a late check out to meet my transfer back to the airport.
The room was well equipped and the bed very comfortable.Very good room – Andreas from Sweden – July 8, 2023 (9/10)
Friendly staff. Seaview from the balcony. Good value.
What could be improved: Smell of smoke in the stairways, but maybe it's inevitable in this country.Overall it was a very positive experience we both loved the stay. – Anonymous from Slovenia – August 11, 2023 (10/10)
The room was clean and tidy.
What could be improved: Host was a bit too interruptive. They would try to unlock the door, see the key was in (we were inside) and still knock on the door. This happened multiple times. But we could tell they were trying to be very nice. Too nice. We just wanted peace.Exceptional – Jelena from Serbia – August 1, 2025 (10/10)
Exceptional – Mariana from Romania – August 24, 2024 (10/10)
What could be improved: Totul a fost ok. – Марина from Ukraine – July 26, 2024 (10/10)
Wonderful – Елена from Ukraine – July 18, 2024 (9/10)
What could be improved: Wi-fi очень слабый.Wonderful – Amandakoco from Czech Republic – July 26, 2023 (9/10)
