Hotel Description
You know what caught me off guard about Villa Sveti Stefan? I mean, everyone talks about the famous island resort nearby, but this place in Tudorovici actually gives you something better – you get those stunning Adriatic views without the crazy price tag or the crowds fighting for photos on that postcard-perfect causeway.
The thing is, staying here feels like you’ve stumbled onto Montenegro’s best-kept secret. The villa sits just high enough on the hillside that you can see Sveti Stefan island in the distance (honestly, the view from some rooms is better than what you get from the island itself), but you’re still close enough to walk down to Milocer Beach in about ten minutes. And here’s what the guidebooks don’t tell you – that beach is where the locals go when they want to avoid the tourist madness. The path down is a bit steep, sure, but there’s something magical about having morning coffee on the terrace while watching the fishing boats head out, then later seeing them return with the day’s catch.
What really sold me on this place was how the staff actually knows the area. Like, really knows it. When I asked about dinner spots, they didn’t just rattle off the usual suspects in Budva’s old town – though those are great too – they told me about this family-run konoba tucked away in the hills where the owner makes rakija that’ll knock your socks off. The rooms themselves have that comfortable, lived-in elegance that makes you feel like you’re staying at a well-traveled friend’s place rather than some sterile hotel. Sure, the WiFi can be a bit spotty during peak season (we’re talking Montenegro here, not Manhattan), and the air conditioning works overtime in July, but honestly? You’ll probably spend most of your time on that terrace anyway, watching the light change over the water and wondering why you ever thought you needed to fight the crowds in Dubrovnik. The parking situation is actually pretty straightforward too – there’s a small lot right there, which is more than I can say for most places along this coast. If you’re driving from the airport, just follow the coastal road past Budva and keep an eye out for the small sign – it’s easy to miss if you’re going too fast, but that’s sort of the point, isn’t it?
Early hotels booking in Budva requires advance planning during peak summer seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s renowned beaches and vibrant nightlife.

A really unique experience, loved every minute of it! – Dragana from Montenegro – August 8, 2024 (10/10)
The location is really one of a kind and the sunsets are out of this world..
We were a company of 6 and we barely left the villa during our stay, because it's so comfortable and so quiet..
The nearest beach Drobni pijesak probably has the cleanest water in this part of Adriatic sea.
What could be improved: We loved everything!
However, we did agree that a pool would be a great asset and the owner said that they are already working on it, so definitely looking forward to coming back!Beautiful tuscan styke Classic stone cilla and garden with budva views – Ezra from United States – July 28, 2024 (10/10)
