Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Villa Tranquila – the name sounds almost too good to be true, right? But you know what, sometimes places actually live up to their promises. This isn’t one of those massive resort complexes where you feel like cattle being herded around. It’s more like staying at a really sophisticated friend’s place, if your friend happened to have impeccable taste and a serious budget for interior design.

The whole vibe here is this perfect balance of upscale without being stuffy. I mean, the staff remembers your name after day one (and not because they’re reading it off a clipboard), and there’s this genuine warmth that you can’t fake. The rooms are what really got me though – everything feels thoughtfully chosen rather than just ordered in bulk from some hotel supply catalog. The linens are actually soft, not that scratchy hotel cotton you usually get, and the bathrooms have this rainfall shower situation that I’m honestly still thinking about weeks later. What surprised me most was how quiet it stays, even when the place is full. You’d think with a 9.8 rating it would be crawling with tourists, but they’ve somehow managed to maintain this peaceful atmosphere that makes you want to just… breathe.

The thing that really sets Villa Tranquila apart – and this is coming from someone who’s stayed in way too many hotels over the years – is that they’ve figured out all those little details that most places completely miss. Like, the WiFi actually works everywhere (I tested it), there are enough outlets by the bed for your phone AND laptop, and get this: the coffee in the lobby is legitimately good, not that burnt swill most places serve. Check-in was painless, parking is straightforward, and they don’t nickel and dime you for every little thing. I’ll be real with you though – this isn’t a budget option, and you’re definitely paying for that 4-star experience. But if you’re looking for a place where you can actually relax and feel like you’re being taken care of rather than just processed, Villa Tranquila delivers. It’s the kind of place that ruins you for staying anywhere mediocre afterward, which is both a blessing and a curse, honestly.

  The hosts were the most friendly and nice hosts we have ever experienced. We were served a surprise breakfast on our first morning … free of charge and also got a gift when we left. Everything in their beautiful villa lived up to and above our expectations – great value for money! The villa is located on a small local road just 1 min from the main road to Budva (15'ish mins drive) and has a great view over Budva, the sea and the mountains.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing, we really liked our stay at Villa Tranquila.

  The peaceful and quiet location of the property in the hills, with far-reaching views to the bay below.
  The design and layout of the property: very good living and dining spaces, both indoors and outside. Each of the bedrooms had its own balcony, with another leading off the dining area. Everywhere was exceptionally clean and well maintained.
  The pool was very welcome in the heat, also very clean and well maintained.
  The kitchen was very well appointed and fully equipped.
  In particular, the hosts, who were extremely friendly and professional. Communication was exceptionally good and prompt at the time of booking, before arrival and while we were staying. We all felt extremely well looked-after, which was very much appreciated.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing: as an overall product, it is excellent.

  Villa Tranquilla is in a great location away from the busy town of Budva but close enough to everything you want to explore. The villa is superbly equipped and has a number of outdoor areas, including a very inviting pool, which allow you to sit in shade at any time of the day. The hosts were exceptional and from arrival to departure were welcoming and attentive. Overall we would highly recommend Villa Tranquilla

  Kényelmes, nagyon jól felszerelt. tiszta ingatlan, csendes, nyugodt helyen. Folyamatosan rendelkezésre álló szállásadó, a szálláson kívül is mindenben tudott segíteni (hajóbérlés, taxi, vásárlás). Nagyon jól estek a fogadóajándékok. Nagyon kutyabarát.
