I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Viola Di Mare Apartments – the name had me thinking it might be one of those cookie-cutter seaside places that promise oceanfront views but deliver parking lot panoramas. Boy, was I wrong. The moment you walk into the lobby, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about this place. It’s got that perfect balance of being polished without feeling stuffy, and honestly, the staff remembers your name by day two, which is becoming pretty rare these days.

The apartments themselves are where this place really shines, and I mean that literally – the natural light pouring through those windows is incredible. Each unit feels like someone’s well-appointed home rather than a sterile hotel room, with kitchenettes that actually have decent cookware (not those flimsy pans that barely heat water). I spent most mornings making proper coffee and planning the day from my little balcony, watching the neighborhood wake up below. The beds are surprisingly comfortable too – I’m pretty picky about mattresses, and I slept like a rock every night. What really impressed me was how quiet it stays, even during what seemed like peak season. You get the occasional distant sound of life happening around you, but nothing that’ll wake you up at 3 AM.

Here’s the thing about the location – and this is where local knowledge really pays off – you’re positioned perfectly to feel like you’re living somewhere rather than just visiting. There’s this fantastic little market about a five-minute walk away where the vendors actually remember what you bought yesterday, and the bread is still warm if you get there before 9 AM. The whole area has this authentic rhythm to it that you just can’t manufacture. Parking isn’t the nightmare you’d expect either, though I’d recommend asking the front desk about the best spots before you start circling around aimlessly like I did on the first day. And honestly? For a 4-star place with a perfect rating, the value is pretty exceptional. I’ve paid more for cramped hotel rooms that barely had working air conditioning, while here you get space to actually spread out, a kitchen to save money on meals, and that rare feeling that you’ve stumbled onto something special that hasn’t been completely discovered yet. If you’re the type who appreciates places with personality over corporate polish, this is definitely worth booking.

  Everything was great. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean, bright, spacious and comfortable. The location is a good spot with groceries nearby and a bridge that goes over the main road to reach the beaches just a few minutes away.

  Das Apartment war TOP, wir geben eine 10. Küchenausstattung super. Alles vorhanden, von Geschirr, Besteck, Pfanne usw., es waren sogar TABS für die Spülmaschine vorhanden. In den drei Zimmern waren Klimageräte vorhanden und elektrische Rollläden. WLAN war auch in Ordnung. Waschmittel für die Waschmaschine war auch vorhanden. Es gibt genügend Handtücher. Parkplätze sind auch vorhanden, entweder im Außenbereich oder in der Tiefgarage. Supermarkt ist auch in ein paar Gehminuten zu erreichen. Vielen Dank Milena für alles. Besitzer sind höflich und zuvorkommend. Check in und out waren problemlos. Das Haus verfügt über einen Aufzug. Super wenn man keine Lust hat die Koffer in die oberen Etagen zu schleppen.
  
  What could be improved: Eventuell den Wäscheständer austauschen der auf dem Balkon steht. Aber das ist jammern auf höchstem Niveau. Ansonsten nichts zu beanstanden.

  Uredno, čisto, novo, jako blizu plaža/prodavnica/restorana, parking, domaćini susretljivi, kvar mašine za suđe je vrlo brzo riješen, uglavnom svaka preporuka…
  
  What could be improved: Par sitnica koje nam nisu uticale na kvalitet boravka ali možda nekome mogu značiti:
  – glavna magistrala je blizu ali nije da ćete osjetiti veliku buku
  – nema pogled na more(očekivano s obzirom na lokaciju), pogled je uglavnom na hotele koji su ispod magistrale ali nije kao da gledate nekome u zid ili prozor, naprotiv – nemate osjećaj tjeskobe
  – TV nije imao pohranjene kanale i malo je teže to uraditi ako ne znate ruski jer su komande na TV na ruskom, ne sumnjam da se moglo podesiti ili da bi domaćini izašli u susret, ja sam nakon minut dva pokušavanja odlučio da će ljetovanje svakako biti ljepše bez TV-a 🙂

  Danas nam je check out i teska srca odlazimo jer je ovde prelepo 🙂
  Smestaj i kompletna usluga su fantasticni, cista 10.
  Stan je savrseno cist i svetao (postoje i komarnici, roletne kao i klima uredjaji u svakoj prostoriji za potpuno uzivanje). Mi nismo koristili klimu jer nije bilo potrebe. Iako je osuncan stan, tokom celog dana je prijatno i nije vruce. Sa terase ima lep pogled na more, savrseno za jutarnju kafu.
  Plaza je udaljena 5 minuta lagane setnje i prelazi se pasarela koja pruza prelep pogled na more.
  Vlasnici su jako ljubazni i pristupacni i mislili su na apsolutno svaku sitnicu koja moze da zatreba tokom boravka. Kuhinja je kompletno opremljena za boravak porodice, a kreveti su idealne udobnosti za savrsen san.
  Sve je prelepo i savrseno, ne bismo nista menjali.
  Dajemo veliku preporuku za ovaj smestaj!
  Ako sledece godine budemo dolazili u Budvu, trazicemo isti ovaj stan u kojem smo sada boravili.
