You know what surprised me most about WoW Apartments? It’s not actually just one unit – you get these spacious apartments (604-607) that feel way more upscale than the casual name suggests. I mean, when I first walked into 3 Mediteranska, I was honestly expecting something pretty basic for a 3-star place, but the interiors are clean and modern with that minimalist Balkan style that actually works.

The location is where this place really shines, though most people don’t realize it at first. Mediteranska Street isn’t one of those main tourist drags where you’re dodging crowds at 7 AM – it’s tucked just enough away that you get some peace, but you’re still a legitimate 8-minute walk to Budva’s Old Town walls. And here’s something the booking sites don’t tell you: there’s this little bakery two blocks down that opens at 6 AM with the best burek you’ll find outside of Belgrade. The apartment setup means you’ve got a proper kitchen too, so you can actually grab fresh stuff from the morning market near Slovenska Plaža instead of paying resort prices for everything.

What really got me was how quiet it stays at night – even during July when Budva turns into this absolute circus of beach clubs and yacht parties. The building’s solid construction (you know how some places you hear every footstep upstairs?) and honestly, the management seems to screen guests pretty well. I stayed in 606 and barely heard my neighbors, which is saying something considering the paper-thin walls you usually get in coastal Montenegro. The 9.4 rating makes sense when you factor in stuff like reliable hot water, decent Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out every time someone uses the microwave, and – this is huge – actual parking availability. Try finding a parking spot in central Budva during summer… it’s basically a contact sport. Here, there’s usually something within a block or two, and the local traffic police don’t ticket as aggressively as they do closer to the marina. Plus, if you’re planning day trips to Kotor or Cetinje, you’re right off the main road without dealing with Old Town’s narrow streets and tourist bus chaos.
