It’s tucked away on Žrtava Fašizma street, which sounds intimidating if you don’t speak the language, but it’s actually this quiet residential strip that most tourists walk right past. I mean, everyone’s rushing down to the Old Town or hitting the main beaches, but staying here puts you in this sweet spot where you can hear the city humming without being right in the thick of it.

The studio itself is honestly bigger than I expected – and I’ve stayed in enough “cozy” European apartments to know that’s not always a given. The owner clearly gets what travelers actually need because there’s proper counter space in the kitchenette (you can actually prep food without playing Tetris with your groceries), and the bed doesn’t squeak every time you roll over. Small victories, but they matter when you’re there for more than a night or two. The whole place has this lived-in comfort that feels more like borrowing a friend’s apartment than staying in some sterile rental. There’s decent natural light too, which – let’s be real – can make or break a studio situation.

What really sold me on the location was discovering you’re maybe a ten-minute walk from Slovenska Beach, but without the constant stream of people dragging coolers past your window at 7 AM. The neighborhood has that authentic Budva vibe where you’ll see locals grabbing coffee at the small café around the corner, and there’s a little grocery store that stays open later than you’d expect. Parking isn’t the nightmare it can be closer to the center either – though I’d still recommend asking about spots when you book because summer in Budva is… well, it’s something else entirely. The 9.3 rating makes total sense when you factor in that it delivers exactly what it promises without any weird surprises (broken shower pressure, mystery stains, neighbors who apparently never sleep). It’s the kind of place where you settle in after the first night and think, “Yeah, okay, I could actually relax here.”

Early hotels booking in Budva requires advance planning during peak summer seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s renowned beaches and vibrant nightlife.
