Okay, so Apartmani Raskovic might not look like much from the outside – honestly, when I first pulled up, I wasn’t sure I had the right place. But you know what? Sometimes the best finds are the ones that don’t need to show off. This little 3-star spot has somehow managed to earn a 9.7 rating, and after staying there, I totally get why.

The thing about Apartmani Raskovic is that it feels like staying at your really organized friend’s place – if your friend happened to be obsessed with making sure everything works perfectly. The apartments (and yeah, they’re actual apartments, not just hotel rooms with a kitchenette shoved in the corner) have this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake. I mean, the coffee maker actually makes good coffee, the shower pressure is what you dream about after a long day of walking around, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t mysteriously cut out every twenty minutes like at most places. The owner, who I’m guessing is from the Raskovic family, clearly sweats the small stuff – fresh towels appeared like magic, and when I mentioned the air conditioning remote was a bit finicky, it was fixed within an hour.

What really struck me was how quiet it gets at night. You’d think a place this well-rated would be packed with tourists stumbling around at all hours, but the vibe is more residential than chaotic. I actually slept through the night, which never happens when I travel. The kitchen setup is legit too – not just for show. I ended up cooking breakfast a couple times because, well, why not save a few euros and actually use the space? There’s something satisfying about having your morning coffee on a balcony that doesn’t overlook a parking lot or construction site. Look, it’s not going to win any design awards, and the furniture has that slightly-dated Eastern European charm, but everything is spotless and functional. Sometimes that matters more than having Instagram-worthy marble countertops that you can’t actually use for anything.

  Very good place to stay with kind hosts. Apartment is comfortable and has nice kitchenette. Also bed worth mentioning, very comfortable to my taste. View from window is nice, some hills and houses, garden. Close walking distance to center, apartment is situated at relatively "flat" part of the city. Definitely recommend.

  Clean, very comfortable apt, even for longer stay. We apprecciated clean and comfortable shower and bed. Good, quiet and safe location, with parking, even for our bikes. Friendly and helpful host. Large balcony. We had everything we needed.

  Our stay in hotel was really great. The hosts were so adorable. The apartment looks better in reality than on photos. 10 – 15 minutes walk to the old town. Quiet place of living. Clean appartment. There are all needed stuff. Big balkony.

  location was perect very close to everything needed. We checked in late and was still no issue what so ever. Provided extra towels and also provided a iron upon request. Very clean and tidy. Perfect, no complaints.
