I mean, sure, it’s officially a 3-star place, but honestly that 9.4 rating isn’t some fluke – there’s something genuinely refreshing about a property that just gets the basics incredibly right.

The apartment setup is what really makes this place work, especially if you’re planning to stay more than a night or two (and trust me, once you settle into Budva’s rhythm, you’ll want to). Each unit has this lived-in feel that’s way more comfortable than your typical hotel room – actual kitchenettes where you can make morning coffee without wrestling with those tiny hotel packets, and enough space to spread out your stuff without everything ending up in a pile on one chair. The owners clearly understand that travelers want to feel like they’re staying somewhere, not just passing through. What I loved is how quiet it gets in the evenings, which is actually pretty rare in Budva during the summer months when the coastal areas can stay lively until well past midnight.

The location works really well if you know how to navigate Budva – you’re close enough to walk to the old town and beaches without dealing with the constant foot traffic and restaurant hustlers that camp out right in the tourist center. Parking was surprisingly straightforward too, which anyone who’s tried to drive around the Montenegrin coast in July will tell you is basically a small miracle. The staff has that genuine local knowledge thing down – not the rehearsed recommendations you get at bigger hotels, but actual suggestions about which beaches are less crowded on weekends or where to grab groceries without paying tourist prices. There’s something refreshing about checking in somewhere and getting the sense that the people running it actually care whether you have a good stay, rather than just processing you through the system. It’s the kind of place where you end up chatting with other guests in the common areas, sharing tips about day trips to Kotor or arguing about the best local restaurants – you know, the stuff that makes travel memorable beyond just ticking off sights.

  Perfect place for 2 people, 10 mins to the beach, 5 mins to the bus station, 20 mins to the old town. The apartment was cleaned every two days and had all the facilities we needed. The host was super helpful and communication was great.

  I really liked that the apartment was close to everything. Market 3 min away, beach 10 min walk, old town approx. 20 minutes walk. And one big plus is that the apartment has 100% guaranteed parking during the entire stay, which is not common in Budva (either you have to pay extra for parking from €12 per day or they don't have it at all). And the interior of the apartment is the same as in the pictures.
  
  What could be improved: The only thing we didn't like was that there was red soil on the floor in front of the building, because when they were cleaning the stairs, the water flowed onto the ground and then it became muddy

  I loved this palce, so close everywhere and very, very quiet at the same time. Rooms were very modern and very clean, I had a lot of space. AC brand new, it was functioning perfectly. Contact with the host was great.

  One of the best vacations I had – apartment was comfortable, the owners are hospitable and the administration does everything and more – they helped me with a special request I had in my room. For me the garden in the apartments was an additional bonus – to see all the exotic fruits and flowers was a favorite activity, and the terrace was the best place. Close to the beach, supermarket, bus station, market and park. I recommend Bofani Apartments and will come again!
