First Impressions
You know what struck me first about Guest House Vucicevic? It’s tucked away on this quiet residential street called Petrovacka, but somehow you’re still right in the heart of everything that matters in Budva. I mean, it’s not one of those flashy beachfront places, but honestly — that’s exactly why it works. The building has this understated charm that feels more like staying at a well-kept family home than a typical tourist spot.
The Perfect Budva Location
Here’s the thing about location — this three-star guest house sits in what locals actually consider the best part of town. I’m talking about a 9.7 location score, which is pretty remarkable when you consider how picky travelers can be about where they stay. You’re in Gospostina, which puts you close enough to the Old Town that you can wander over for dinner without breaking a sweat, but far enough away that you won’t hear drunk tourists stumbling around at 3 AM. The couples who stay here absolutely love it — and I get why, because there’s something romantic about having your own little corner of Montenegro while still being connected to everything.
Your Home Base
The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable — nothing fancy, but everything you actually need after a day of exploring the Adriatic coast. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, probably because you’re on a residential street rather than some busy tourist strip. The guest house has that family-run feel where someone actually cares whether you’re comfortable, which you don’t always get at bigger hotels.
The Practical Stuff That Matters
Let me tell you about the parking situation — because if you’re driving in Montenegro (and honestly, you should), this is huge. They have private parking right on site, which means you don’t have to circle around Budva looking for a spot or worry about your car overnight. Trust me, after dealing with summer parking chaos in other Montenegrin coastal towns, having a guaranteed spot is worth its weight in gold. It’s one of those details that seems small until you really need it.
Why Guests Love It
Look, Guest House Vucicevic isn’t trying to be something it’s not — and that’s exactly what makes it special. You’re getting solid accommodation in what’s genuinely the top-rated area of Budva, without paying resort prices or dealing with resort crowds. The location score speaks for itself, but what the numbers don’t capture is how this place gives you that authentic Montenegro experience. You’re staying where locals live, shopping at neighborhood markets, but still just minutes from the medieval walls and beach clubs that brought you to Budva in the first place. It’s the kind of spot you’d recommend to friends who want to experience the real Montenegro, not just the postcard version.
Budva’s apartments offer spacious accommodations with sea views, perfect for families wanting to experience daily life in this picturesque Montenegrin coastal town.

What Our Guests Say
Small family run guest house, family unit was so close and warming to be around! Very welcoming family and nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean and location was a short walk to old town and sea front. Parking was also available for a small charge.
What could be improved: The rooms are small but you do see that from the pictures so we expected it. A cot would have been good.
Close to the Old town and and the beach, near 2 supermarkets. Clean with comfy beds and good WiFi. Hosts are very accommodating and kind. Small garden with tables in shadow.. Private parking.
We stayed just two days here but we would definitely book it again. It’s right next to the old town of budva, but still quite enough to get a good sleep. The owner is just wonderful and kind, she does not speak much English (her family does and they are always more than happy to translate and help you ot) but she is still always trying to be helpful. The place is spotless, very comfortable and the value for money is great. We wish we had stayed longer.
What could be improved: There’s nothing negative to say about this place
The property was in a great location, the room was extremely clean and comfortable. The hosts were amazing to deal with, they were so friendly and helpful, exceptional service towards us. We want to come back to stay!
Very good location. Clean rooms, a balcony with a view.
What could be improved: Very tiny room and bathroom, old fridge making noise.
The owners were really kind and available. The structure was super close to the city centre. The reserved parking lot was a valuable plus.
Nice and kind stuff. Good atmosphere.
Nice internal yard where you can cook and eat there with needed equipment.
It is situated in good place.
What could be improved: I don’t remember bad things about this guest house.
If you need to park your car for long time you need to pay for each day for private parking.
Fantastic host, great location
it’s so close to city center and beaches, and most valuable thing is the old lady was really and really helpfull and kind.
Amazing location a few minutes' walk from the Old City.
Super friendly staff who made us feel at home. Maja, the owner, helped us with paid parking, available next to the property, at a decent price.
Towels were changed daily, hygiene products were available and all equipment was functional.
In the courtyard in front of the building there is an area where you can prepare food, equipped with all the facilities.
What could be improved: The room has a small area (12 sqm), there are parts that I find unnecessary (table, chairs) and the furniture elements are placed in an uninspired way. That reduces at minimum the circulation spaces and makes the room overcrowded.
My room did not have a balcony, but wet beach towels can be dried in front of the building.
The large bed is actually two twin beds next to each other.
