Hotel Description
You know what caught me off guard about Centar New Loki Apartments? The name makes it sound like some generic chain hotel, but honestly, this place has way more character than I expected for a 3-star spot. I mean, the “New Loki” part had me wondering what happened to the old one, but after spending a few nights here, I get why they’re probably proud enough of the upgrade to put it right in the name.
The apartments themselves are actually proper apartments – not just hotel rooms with a mini-fridge shoved in the corner. We’re talking separate bedrooms, real kitchens where you can cook an actual meal (the stovetop works great, though the oven runs a bit hot), and living areas where you can spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re camping. The furniture’s modern but not that sterile IKEA-catalog look you see everywhere. They’ve got these little touches that make it feel more homey – decent coffee mugs instead of paper cups, actual wine glasses, and the kind of couch you can fall asleep on watching Netflix. Speaking of which, the Wi-Fi is solid throughout, which isn’t always a given in apartment-style places.
What really sells this place though is how quiet it stays, even with families around. The walls are thick enough that you’re not hearing every conversation next door, and I never once got woken up by slamming doors in the hallway. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no hovering over your shoulder while you figure out the key cards, just quick and efficient. The staff actually knows the neighborhood too, which is rarer than it should be. They pointed me toward this little bakery about two blocks away that I never would’ve found on my own, and gave me the real scoop on which metro stops to avoid during rush hour. Parking can be a bit of a dance – there’s a garage but it fills up, so arriving earlier in the day definitely helps. The whole area has that lived-in feel where locals are actually going about their business, not just tourist traps lined up in a row. I ended up walking to dinner most nights because there’s genuinely good food within a few minutes’ walk, and you get a feel for how the neighborhood breathes. That 8.6 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be fancy, it’s just doing everything right without any fuss.
Budva’s hotels showcase the perfect blend of Mediterranean charm and modern comfort, with many featuring sea view terraces and traditional Montenegrin hospitality.

The apartment is very spacious. It has lots of natural light. The location is great about 2 blocks from the beach and a few minutes walk to the old town. I would definitely stay here again.

Huge flat for 4, that could also accommodate a fifth person, so price/performance ratio was really good. Limited but joyful sea view. A bit old but usable furniture. Great location close to center.
What could be improved: There is empty space in front of building, and the garage of the building was not full. However, we were expected to pay for parking. There is not any free parking space around. Heaters were not working, only making noise.Natalja from United Kingdom – 10 April 2023 (9/10)
