Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Glory Suites on Mainski put, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes the best discoveries are the ones that surprise you. This little gem sits in a pretty residential area of Budva, and while it’s not right on the waterfront (you’re maybe a 10-minute walk to the beach), that actually works in its favor because you’re away from all the tourist chaos.

The building itself has this clean, modern vibe – nothing too fancy, but everything feels well-maintained and thoughtful. I mean, you can tell someone actually cares about this place. The rooms are larger than you’d expect, and honestly, the beds are surprisingly comfortable. There’s this attention to detail that you don’t always get at mid-range hotels – decent water pressure in the shower, blackout curtains that actually block light, air conditioning that works without sounding like a freight train. The staff genuinely seems happy to help, which makes such a difference when you’re trying to figure out where to grab dinner or catch a bus to Kotor.

What really sold me on this place is how it feels more like staying in a nice apartment building than a typical hotel. The neighborhood is quiet – you’ll hear some local life during the day, maybe kids playing or neighbors chatting, but it dies down at night so you can actually sleep. Parking isn’t a nightmare like it is closer to the Old Town (trust me, you don’t want to deal with that mess in summer), and you’re still close enough to walk to all the good stuff. There’s a little bakery around the corner that locals hit up for morning coffee, and honestly, that’s worth knowing about. The 8.8 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s one of those places that just gets the basics really, really right without trying to be something it’s not. If you want to experience Budva without paying resort prices or dealing with constant crowds outside your window, this is your spot.

  Very great stay in the center of Budva . The place is well maintained , modern , secured and clean . The apartments has everything you need to be comfortable. Near supermarkets and restaurants. The beach is 10min or less away .

  What could be improved: Just a suggestion for improvement would be to have a few more kitchen utensils eg, a sharp knife that isn’t so flimsy. But we still made do.

  Ideal location for the centre – 5 mins walk from bus station – nice large room size and balcony at the front – we liked it so we added 3 more nights – albeit we had to move into a studio – but that was managed early so we didn’t waist our time – early check in also arrange and the staff were very good.
