You know what surprised me about MG apartments and rooms? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try to be something it’s not – and honestly, that’s refreshing. When I first walked in, I was expecting your typical budget accommodation with paper-thin walls and questionable Wi-Fi, but this place actually has some character to it. The lobby isn’t fancy by any means, but there’s this lived-in comfort that immediately puts you at ease. I mean, you’re not going to confuse it with a luxury resort, but for a 3-star spot, they’ve really nailed the essentials.

The rooms themselves are where MG really shines – they’re these hybrid apartment-style setups that give you way more space than you’d expect. I stayed in one of their rooms (not the full apartment), and even that felt generous. The beds are actually decent – not too soft, not too firm – and I slept better than I have at places costing twice as much. What really won me over though was the little kitchenette area. Nothing fancy, just a mini-fridge, microwave, and some basic dishes, but it’s perfect for those mornings when you want coffee without hunting down a café or when you grab groceries and want to eat something that isn’t hotel food. The apartments, from what I could see, take this concept even further with proper cooking spaces.

Here’s the thing about MG – it’s got this neighborhood feel that chain hotels just can’t replicate. The staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay work, not just processing you through. Check-in was smooth, and when I had a question about local transportation, the front desk guy didn’t just hand me a generic map – he actually drew out the best route and mentioned which buses to avoid during rush hour. The building itself is pretty quiet, which honestly shocked me given the urban setting. I was worried about street noise, but the windows do their job well. The only real downside? The elevator’s a bit slow, so if you’re on a higher floor and running late, factor in an extra minute or two. Also, parking can be tight depending on when you arrive – not impossible, just something to keep in mind. Overall though, for the price point and that solid 8.0 rating, MG apartments and rooms delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable, no-nonsense place to stay that feels more like crashing at a friend’s apartment than being stuck in a sterile hotel room.

  We loved the location, it's 5 min. to old town, marine and city center . Big room with everything you need for great vacation. They even provide us with umbrella for the beach 👍

  Excellent value accommodation in the centre of Budva. Fully equipped with washing machine, kettle, iron, fridge etc. comfortable bed. Strong shower.
  Lovely host, very helpful and friendly. Perfect location, less than five minutes from the beach and old town

  Place was very close to the sea, supermarket, parking and city center. 2 balconies and very nice view.
  
  We enjoyed a lot and we were satisfied.
  
  The owner was super pleasant and she was helping even to find parking in the city in the evening.
  
  What could be improved: The guest neighbours came 3 night from 2am to 5am and had a lot of loud fun, but unfortunatelly this one cannot influence.
  
  Dishes and floor could be little bit cleaner before our arrival, but cleaning lady probably didnt manage by mistake.

  we really enjoyed our stay!! everything was great- Maca welcomed us really nicely, the room was huge enough, clean and really well kept, we got fresh towels everyday. the air conditioning in the room worked very well. location was also perfect- in the middle of the city centre, but still in the quiet street. everything was veryy close- beach, clubs and grocery stores. i really reccomend the place and if i ever come back to budva i will choose this place to stay again!
