You know what surprised me most about Olive Square Apartment? It’s one of those places that doesn’t look like much from the outside, but once you’re settled in, you realize you’ve stumbled onto something really good. I mean, with a 9.7 rating, I was expecting decent – but this three-star spot actually punches way above its weight class.

The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel room. The kitchen is properly equipped (not just those sad mini-fridges you usually get), and honestly, after a few days of Budva’s restaurant prices, you’ll appreciate being able to grab groceries from the local market and cook something simple. The living space has this lived-in comfort that makes you want to sprawl out with a book, and the bedroom is quiet enough that you won’t hear every scooter puttering down the street at 2 AM – which, if you know Budva in summer, is saying something. The WiFi actually works too, which I’ve learned not to take for granted in Montenegro.

What really sold me on this place though is the location situation. You’re tucked away enough to avoid the worst of the tourist chaos, but you can still walk to the Old Town in about ten minutes without breaking a sweat. The beach is close – the good stretches, not just the overcrowded bits right in front of the main hotels. And here’s the thing nobody tells you about Budva: parking is absolutely brutal during peak season, but staying at Olive Square means you’re not constantly circling the block looking for a spot. The staff seems to actually care about helping you figure out the local logistics too, which makes a huge difference when you’re trying to navigate Montenegro’s somewhat… creative approach to street signage. It’s the kind of place where you check in thinking you’ll just crash for a few nights, then end up extending your stay because it feels right. For the price point, especially considering that rating, it’s honestly one of those rare finds that makes you feel like you’re getting away with something.

Early hotels booking in Budva requires advance planning during peak summer seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s renowned beaches and vibrant nightlife.

  New and tidy apartment, 10 minutes walk from the center. Miro the owner was very friendly and helpful during the whole stay.

  Gospodarz przemiły i sympatyczny! Świetna baza wypadowa, wszedzie blisko. Bezpieczna i cicha okolica. Mieszkanie dobrze wyposarzone, niczego nam nie brakowało. Polecamy!
  
  What could be improved: Brak prywatnego miejsca parkingowego, natomiast wokół osiedla zawsze udało sie znaleźć wolne miejsce.

  Ev tam anlamıyla resimde gösterildiği gibiydi. Ev old town’a 1,5 km uzaklıkla. Rahatlıkla ulaşabiliyorsunuz. Plajlara da oldukça yakın. Hemen altında market olması da bir avantaj. Ev sahibi oldukça sıcakkanlıydı. Kendisi ve eşi bizi karşıladı. Park yeri hususunda da yardımcı oldular. Kesinlikle memnun kaldık.

  Vesna und Miro sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Miro war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns gerne mit Rat beiseite gestanden. Das Appartement ist sehr schön eingerichtet und man findet alles vor, was man braucht. Ausserdem gibt es einen großen Balkon, was abends sehr angenehm ist. Die Betten sind bequem und die Klimaanlage bei den hohen Temperaturen wirklich nützlich. Im Gebäudekomplex ist u.a. ein großer Supermarkt und ein Cafe, was sehr praktisch ist. Die Altstadt ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Appartement und die Gastgeber empfehlen wir sehr gern weiter.

  Gospodin Miro je najljubazniji domaćin i od velike koristi. Dočekao nas je jako srdačno iako je predviđeni dolazak bia u 19 h a dosli smo tek u 22:30h.
  Uputia nas u sve šta bi nam pomoglo da naš boravak bude još bolji. Stavia se na raspolaganje za bilo šta ako nam zatreba.
  Apartman izuzetno čist,prozračan i udoban, zahvaljujući njegovoj gospođi koja brine o tom. Čista petica.
  Centar Budve jako blizu. Automobil nam nije trebao.
  Na odlasku se bilo teško rastati jer smo imali osjećaj da smo kod jako dobrog i dragog prijatelja na odmoru.
  Apsolutno sve preporuke. ☺️🧡

  Miro je odlican domacin i svo vreme je na usluzi ako treba bilo kakav pomoc, apartman je potpuno nov, maksimalno funkcionalan, opremljen sa svim kucnim aparatima.

  Kao prvo dopalo mi se gostoprimstvo i susretljivost domacina. Kao drugo slike su realne i smestaj je besprekoran bas za potrebe turista. Sve u svemu profesinalizam na zavidnom nivou.

  Venlig og imødekommende ejer, trods meget kort varsel for min bestilling. Lejligheden er meget pænt, rent og funktionel med alt man har brug for, under ferie af kort eller længere varighed!
