First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Pansion Anita, honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from this three-star place tucked away in Velji Vinogradi. But you know what? Sometimes the best discoveries come in unassuming packages. The family-run feel hits you immediately — there’s this genuine warmth that you just don’t get at those massive resort chains. The building itself is modest, sure, but it’s well-maintained and has that authentic Montenegrin charm that actually feels real rather than manufactured for tourists.
Location Magic
Here’s where this place really shines — the location is absolutely spot-on. I mean, Budva can be tricky to navigate, especially during peak season when the old town gets completely packed. But staying here puts you in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to walk to everything that matters, yet far enough from the chaos to actually get some sleep. The beach is maybe a 10-minute stroll, and getting to the old town takes about the same time. What I really appreciated was how easy it was to find good local restaurants nearby — you’re not stuck eating overpriced tourist food because you can’t be bothered to venture out.
The Room Experience
My room was clean and functional — nothing fancy, but everything worked properly, which is more than I can say for some places I’ve stayed. The air conditioning actually cooled the space (crucial in summer), and the Wi-Fi was reliable enough for video calls back home. The bathroom was compact but had decent water pressure, and I loved that they provided proper blackout curtains. You’ll appreciate this detail if you’re planning to sleep in after those late Budva nights. The balcony was small but gave me a nice spot to have morning coffee while planning the day ahead.
Daily Rhythms
Breakfast is simple but fresh — think local bread, cheese, ham, and really good coffee that actually tastes like coffee. The family running the place is incredibly helpful with recommendations, and they seem to genuinely care about whether you’re enjoying your stay. Parking is available, which is honestly a huge relief in Budva where finding a spot can turn into a 30-minute ordeal. The whole operation runs smoothly without being overly formal — it’s like staying with relatives who happen to run a really well-organized guesthouse.
Why Guests Love It
What makes Pansion Anita work so well is that it delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. You’re getting a comfortable, clean place to sleep in an excellent location, run by people who know the area inside and out. The value is outstanding — you’re paying reasonable rates to stay in one of Budva’s best neighborhoods, and you’re not sacrificing comfort to get there. Couples especially seem to love it here, and I can see why. It’s intimate without being cramped, quiet without being isolated, and authentic without being rough around the edges. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.
Budva’s hotels showcase the perfect blend of Mediterranean charm and modern comfort, with many featuring sea view terraces and traditional Montenegrin hospitality.

What Our Guests Say
Everything in general was superb!
- The hotel had a good wi-fi connection.
- The option to buy a parking space just 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel for 10 euros per night was very convenient.
- The location was great, with bakeries nearby operating almost 24/7 and an excellent restaurant, Monte Inn, where we especially loved the octopus dish for only 8 euros!
- The breakfasts were nice and varied, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.
- Daily cleaning ensured the room stayed fresh and tidy throughout our stay.
What could be improved: But:
- The mattress was very uncomfortable, with protruding springs that made sleeping difficult.
- The bathroom was small, with an inconveniently designed sink that made usage a challenge.
- While the location was good, the best beaches were 1–3 km away, which could be a downside if you're looking for easy beach access.
Breakfast is good. Location is good , private toilet , balcony , very kind staff
What could be improved: Bed could be more comfortable , very small room
The hotel was not easy to find, we went by car, I there are no signs from the main road as the hotel is not by the road. It is quite problematic as there is a large traffic. The hotel has a parking garage about 8 minutes' walk from the hotel, where the receptionist will escort you. The price is €10 per day. Breakfast was weak. The price was a little higher, but ok for the location of the hotel. The staff was very nice.
The Location was perfect, very nearby the riviera to walk. Host were also very kind. Breakfast was different every day and delicious.
What could be improved: The bed was not very comfortable and it was a pity that the cleaning was once in 3 days. Also wifi in the third floor didn't work well.
Everything else was perfect.
Super pansion usluga odlicna personal mnogu fin, zadovolni sme
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was close to the sea.
What could be improved: Unfortunately there was no sea view even though it was mentioned in the listing
The host !
What could be improved: The place and clean
Breakfast was great: no menu but dishes were different, big and tasty. Burek was with real cheese, not with odor only
Stuff is friendly and helpful
Room was clean and tidy. Bed linen was clean and fresh. Seaside is quite close, so you can feel breeze at morning.
Location is good, I liked 'Grape' cafe nearby
What could be improved: The only little problem was solved by staff perfectly.
You can miss the location, maybe any additional sign from street side will be useful
Friendly staff. Close to the beach. Clean room with AC.
What could be improved: It is hard to find a parking space, but this is not the pansion's fault.
The owners are very welcoming and friendly. The room was very clean,we had also air conditioner which could make the air cold in the room for almost 5 minutes.. And we loved that since it was so hot..Also the hotel it is a little bit far from the beach you have to walk a little for at least 5-6 minutes but everything else was okay!
