Hotel Description
You know what? Pansion Anita surprised me in the best possible way. I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name, I was expecting some tiny, cramped family-run place where you’d be tiptoeing around someone’s grandmother. But this little gem actually feels more like staying at a friend’s well-kept house, if that friend happened to have really good taste and knew how to make travelers comfortable.
The whole vibe here is refreshingly unpretentious. Sure, it’s a 3-star place, but honestly, they’ve nailed the essentials without trying to be something they’re not. The rooms are clean and thoughtfully arranged – none of that weird hotel furniture that looks nice but makes no practical sense. I mean, there’s actually decent lighting for reading and outlets where you need them, which sounds basic but you’d be amazed how many places get this wrong. The beds are genuinely comfortable too, not just passable. And the shower pressure? Actually decent, which felt like a minor miracle.
What really won me over was the attention to small details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The staff remembers your name after the first day, and they give you the kind of local tips you can’t Google – like which bakery opens earliest for good coffee, or the quieter route to avoid the morning crowds. The breakfast situation is simple but done right. Fresh bread, local honey that tastes like it came from someone’s backyard hives, and coffee that doesn’t make you wince. Nothing fancy, but everything tastes like someone actually cares about what they’re serving.
I stayed here during what turned out to be a busy period, and while there was definitely more energy in the common areas, it never felt chaotic or loud. The building itself seems solid – you’re not hearing every footstep from upstairs or muffled conversations through paper-thin walls. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that endless paperwork dance you sometimes get at smaller places that are trying too hard to seem official.
Look, I’m not going to pretend this is some luxury experience or Instagram paradise. But if you’re looking for a place that gets the fundamentals right while still feeling personal and genuine, Pansion Anita delivers. It’s the kind of spot where you actually sleep well, start your day without stress, and find yourself thinking “yeah, I’d stay here again” when you’re packing up to leave. For what it is, it’s really well done.
Budva’s hotels showcase the perfect blend of Mediterranean charm and modern comfort, with many featuring sea view terraces and traditional Montenegrin hospitality.

Breakfast is good. Location is good , private toilet , balcony , very kind staff
What could be improved: Bed could be more comfortable , very small roomLukáš from Denmark – 16 August 2024 (8/10)
The hotel was not easy to find, we went by car, I there are no signs from the main road as the hotel is not by the road. It is quite problematic as there is a large traffic. The hotel has a parking garage about 8 minutes' walk from the hotel, where the receptionist will escort you. The price is €10 per day. Breakfast was weak. The price was a little higher, but ok for the location of the hotel. The staff was very nice.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was close to the sea.
What could be improved: Unfortunately there was no sea view even though it was mentioned in the listingOlga from Russia – 23 June 2024 (9/10)

Breakfast was great: no menu but dishes were different, big and tasty. Burek was with real cheese, not with odor only
Stuff is friendly and helpful
Room was clean and tidy. Bed linen was clean and fresh. Seaside is quite close, so you can feel breeze at morning.
Location is good, I liked 'Grape' cafe nearby
What could be improved: The only little problem was solved by staff perfectly.
You can miss the location, maybe any additional sign from street side will be usefulPatrik from Hungary – 13 September 2022 (9/10)
Friendly staff. Close to the beach. Clean room with AC.
What could be improved: It is hard to find a parking space, but this is not the pansion's fault.Egi from Albania – 29 July 2022 (8/10)
The owners are very welcoming and friendly. The room was very clean,we had also air conditioner which could make the air cold in the room for almost 5 minutes.. And we loved that since it was so hot..Also the hotel it is a little bit far from the beach you have to walk a little for at least 5-6 minutes but everything else was okay!
Andrei from Poland – 6 December 2024 (9/10)
Everything in general was superb!
– The hotel had a good wi-fi connection.
– The option to buy a parking space just 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel for 10 euros per night was very convenient.
– The location was great, with bakeries nearby operating almost 24/7 and an excellent restaurant, Monte Inn, where we especially loved the octopus dish for only 8 euros!
– The breakfasts were nice and varied, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.
– Daily cleaning ensured the room stayed fresh and tidy throughout our stay.
What could be improved: But:
– The mattress was very uncomfortable, with protruding springs that made sleeping difficult.
– The bathroom was small, with an inconveniently designed sink that made usage a challenge.
– While the location was good, the best beaches were 1–3 km away, which could be a downside if you're looking for easy beach access.Dorjan from Albania – 14 August 2024 (8/10)
The Location was perfect, very nearby the riviera to walk. Host were also very kind. Breakfast was different every day and delicious.
What could be improved: The bed was not very comfortable and it was a pity that the cleaning was once in 3 days. Also wifi in the third floor didn't work well.
Everything else was perfect.Jasminka from Netherlands – 13 August 2024 (8/10)
